I am a Social Designer working with concept development, field and design research. I am involved in problematizing and solving social issues by using a creative approach that responds to real problems. I critically investigate social behaviors and contexts through different methods of inquiry where design can be used in services and processes to create valuable social relationships.
I enjoy myself the most during the development of design briefs and thinking processes, nevertheless, I also have a natural ability to land ideas with a detail-oriented approach to making. Apart from focusing on social transformation through conscious design, my interests also include incorporating a gender perspective lens in my design practice.
I hold a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (Mexico) and a M.A. in Social Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven (The Netherlands).
